Mr. Wayne DeVico, Supervisor of Maintenance and Custodial Services The purpose of the buildings and grounds department is to provide a safe, clean, and mechanically sound learning environment for our students. While maintaining and upgrading our schools, members of the administrative team closely monitor our spending guidelines and environmental responsibilities. There are several New Jersey Department of Education mandates that we must adhere to. Our Integrated Pest Management Policy is one that we make readily available to the Mountainside community through annual mailings and postings. This pertains to indoor and outdoor locations. Additionally, we comply with Right-to-Know regulations. It is to be noted that Beechwood and Deerfield are kept very well by our custodial staff. Every visitor is to respect and care for the buildings and grounds with a great degree of enthusiasm in order to contribute toward maintaining a pleasant learning environment. Visitors are asked to also take pride in the appearance of our buildings and grounds by refraining from defacing and vandalizing school property and by removing debris when appropriate. Should you have any questions regarding the use of buildings and grounds, please be sure to contact Mr. Wayne DeVico, Supervisor of Maintenance and Custodial Services, at (908) 232-8828 X 222. |
