Public Notices
The Mountainside Board of Education will post each public notice on this dedicated section of our website. Notices will be posted at least 48 hours prior to the meeting and will remain posted for at least ten (10) days from the date of initial posting. After that time, the notices will be moved to the “Archived Notices” subsection.
Effective March 1, 2026, Mountainside Schools has transitioned from publishing legal notices in traditional print newspapers to this dedicated online platform. This change follows the enactment of L. 2025, c.72, signed by Governor Phil Murphy, which modernizes public notification by utilizing digital platforms to increase accessibility and transparency for our community.
This page serves as the official source for all public notices required by law. Our goal is to ensure that residents, taxpayers, and vendors have free, 24/7 access to official district business without the need for a subscription or registration.
