We are going to have a wonderful year!  Our class will be structured following a Reading and Writing Workshop structure.  Students will be reading A LOT, typically completing a book every two weeks, as we explore a variety of genres and hone our use of various reading strategies.  In addition, we will be exploring many different writing styles and genres, as well as working to strengthen our core writing abilities.
