Welcome to Beechwood School!

I am thrilled to have the honor to lead this vibrant school community as we emerge, together, towards normalcy and the stability that school can provide for our children and families.  Having taught in nearby Westfield from 1999-2012, then serving as Assistant Principal at Village (PreK-3rd Grade) School in Holmdel from 2012 until now, I am beyond excited to be one of Beechwood’s newest Bears!  Whether you are a returning, soon-to-begin, or potential member of the Beechwood family, you will be welcomed with a smile and a dedicated staff that is here to assist you and ensure the absolute best educational opportunities for your child.  

Responsible for educating Mountainside’s youngest students, our teachers recognize the importance of a safe and supportive school environment.  Our caring, knowledgeable staff are experts in bringing the curriculum to life for students in creative ways that promote continued academic growth, while positively supporting each child’s social-emotional needs. 

In partnership with our families, we can achieve the district’s mission of ensuring all our students become informed, empathetic, and productive citizens who are responsible on a personal, community, and global level.  Now, more than ever, we can recognize the myriad ways our world is interconnected and the intense need to fulfill this mission.  Our children are the future, and our Beechwood Bears will be provided with the foundation they need to believe in themself, make good choices, and understand that with hard work and a growth mindset, there is no limit to what they can accomplish.  

After a most unusual year and half, please join me in looking forward to what I know will be an awesome 2021-2022 school year!   Like me, truly entering Beechwood as a new beginning, I think this school year is going to be somewhat of a new beginning for us all, and a wonderful adventure!}
