About the PTO
The Mountainside NJ PTO allows parents to have a partnership with their neighbors and teachers in providing the best educational experience for our children. Through the student assemblies and parent-oriented programs that the PTO offers, as well as the purchase of beneficial classroom materials, our PTO provides parents and teachers with essential tools in helping our children to be successful students.
The PTO provides funding for field trips and student assemblies at all grade levels. In addition, we will continue to offer the successful programs that you have come to enjoy throughout the years, including the Back to School Ice Cream Social, Fall Festival, Holiday Shoppe, Bingo Night, Library Bunch, Red Ribbon Week, Scholastic Book Fairs, School Supply Sale, Box Tops for Education, and our annual Spring Fundraiser.
Join the PTO and Volunteer!
Parent volunteers are the key to the success of the PTO, and we would like to encourage all families to join the PTO! Your membership and volunteer efforts are critical to the PTO’s ability to continue supporting our schools. In addition, your valuable time and efforts not only help to fund the various programs, but also allow for the purchases the PTO makes for both schools throughout the year. We invite you to become involved and volunteer to help with one or more events.
